Our client in the Marketing and Branding industry is currently looking for an External Sales & Marketing Specialist, in Cape Town, Western Cape.Responsibilities:

• Key Account Management: Maintain, nurture, and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• New Business Development: Identify and approach potential new clients to expand customer base.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet revenue targets, focusing on diverse offerings (branded clothing, uniforms, promotional gifting, signage, print media, safety wear, and PPE).
• Client Presentations: Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value of services.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional services to current and potential clients.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales progress, client feedback, and market opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns and projects for clients.

• Proven experience in External sales and Marketing, preferably in the marketing and branding industry.
• Strong background in Key Account Management, with a demonstrated ability to retain and grow client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
• Familiarity with the marketing and branding products such as promotional gifting, signage, safety wear, and PPE is an advantage.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Knowledge of branded clothing, uniforms, promotional items, and signage solutions.
• Experience in business development and networking in a B2B environment.
• A degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not essential with relevant experience.

• Up to R20 000 CTC per month plus commission.
