Summary:Our client is seeking a young, dynamic individual for an External Sales Role. Candidate should have the necessary skills of communicating with the different levels of decision makers in the manufacturing industry. Must be target driven, friendly, team player and be willing to learn and work well under pressure.Duties:

  • Manage and grow existing customers by profiling and looking at value added based applications that exists in the accounts.
  • Alignment of industries in the manufacturing sector to our current successes
  • To acquire new customers on a consisted basis for the growth for the Company...
  • Customer service& retention, quotations, meeting all client needs, responding to emails, liaising with customers - giving feedback etc.
  • This customer specialist will take ownership of meeting and requirements for the assigned customers, grow market share and further develop profitable sales. Finding new growth opportunities for the company and forming strategic partnerships that open new markets.
  • Adopt and implement our sales process with regards to research, leads input and moving the customers to the planner activity
  • Setting up constructive appointments for value based discussions
  • Do the population of pipeline platform and moving them to their natural conclusion in generating revenue stream for growth for the company.
  • Must be motivated, self-driven and prepared for intensive sales functions that will accrue in sales
  • Develop reporting and monitoring mechanisms highlighting competitor, both local and international, activities, highlighting market movements to Sales and Management.
  • Analyze market potentials, track sales and status reports.
  • Meet and exceed sales budgets (volume & revenue).
  • Establish, promote and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Comply with the companys planning, reporting and customer management structures as determined by management.
  • Assisting with the quarterly Stock Stake.
  • New Business acquired and be responsible for a group of assigned key customers.
  • Increase the number of products at existing customers
  • Be required to develop sales by analysing, implementing, and controlling the opportunities within the assigned market sector.
  • Develop, build and maintain fruitful working relationships with all levels and actively develop the growth of key products whilst successfully introducing new products within the assigned market sector.
  • Achieving set financial targets: - Sales turnover & margins. - Product volumes -Expenses
  • Track and report sales status and forecasts.
  • Assist with developing and implementing product promotions and go to market strategies.
  • Assist with addressing customer issues and solving complaints.
  • Sales reports to management.
  • Any other duties, that may be assigned from time-to-time.
Requirements:
  • Must have own vehicle, cellphone and laptop
  • 3 years experience servicing the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage
  • Excellent English skills - written and spoken (Zulu language an added advantage)
Strong leadership and admin skills
Good time management - Microsoft Office Skills. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, emails) etc.
Presentation skills and engagements on Electronic platforms (Zoom, Teams &Webinar)
High level of motivation and continuous improvement mentality
