Job Advert Details Job CategoryFacilities Job ObjectivesContractor and Service Provider ManagementJob scheduling and workload management.Monitoring contractor performance on minor repair work.Accurate record keeping of monthly maintenance work conducted and scheduled (maintenance program).Risk audit reviewsEnsuring contractor compliance with regards to OHSA and the permit office requirements in conjunction with HSE department.Controlling expenditure in relation to the budget and forecasted expenditure.Reporting and following up on repair work scheduled and concluded. Signing of job cards on completion of work and filling thereof.Quality ControlMinimizing downtime on equipment or MHE to improve productivity through proactive and preventive maintenance.Managing MHE abuse and cost recovery, and the scheduling of monthly MHE meetingsHandling and coordinating invoice queries between Finance and the service providers for payment.Ensuring staff adhere to PPE regulations (cleaning & maintenance staff)Managing and monitoring equipment performance and maintenance according to company standards, best practices, and OEM standards. Maintaining a safe working environment. QualificationsBTech or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) and/orRecognised Facilities Management qualification. Experience2-3 years supervisory experience in building construction and maintenance work, preferably in a Warehouse or Distribution Centre.
