Job Advert SummaryEduvos is looking to hire the services of a Facilities Lead at our Pretoria/Midrand campus on a permanent basis.Type of Position:

The Position:
  • To manage the delivery of innovative, efficient and cost-effective facility and property related (physical campus environment to allocated Eduvos campuses, thereby ensuring an optimal student experience
Minimum RequirementsMinimum qualification:Relevant Degree and Certifications * Association with SAFMA and SAIOHS desirableExperience:Five years progressive experience in facilities management and safety management of which two years in a managerial roleAt least two years project management experiencing, including project planning and budgeting for large-scale projects
Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:As the Facilities Lead you will be primarily responsible for the following:
  • Accountability areas - operating / financial results accountable for delegated work
Campus Facilities, Campus Procurement, Effective space utilization, Service delivery, Compliance, Health and safety performance on key metrics, Sustainability metrics, Financial and Innovation
  • Management and Leadership being done to achieve KPI's of accountability areas
Budgets, Planning business and operational plans, objectives and schedules, Reporting, Workflow, Resourcing and capacity management, Problem Solving, Decision Quality, Resourcing, Capacity Management, Operational Innovation, Effiecency Improvements, Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Skills Levels- Training & Development and Climate & Culture
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, Communicate and Represent
Functional and Behavioural CompetenciesFunctional competencies:
  • Knowledge of hard services (e.g., aircons) and soft services (e.g. administrative functions) management
  • Good understanding of current sustainability practices and energy-efficient technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office suite & MS Dynamics
  • Proficient in OHS online or similar platforms
  • Technical understanding of hard services and soft services in Facilities
