Job Description


Key Responsibilities:Team Management

  • Manage and provide leadership to a team of technicians, and support staff.
  • Set performance standards, conduct regular performance reviews, and coach team members for professional development.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and effective communication.
Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Develop and manage budgets for the site, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services and adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor expenses and identify areas for optimization and cost savings.
  • Procure and manage vendor contracts to ensure services are delivered at optimal costs.
Hard Services
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure (such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure routine preventive maintenance schedules and inspections are carried out on time.
Soft Services
  • Manage and ensure the delivery of high-quality soft services, including janitorial, pest control, waste management.
  • Monitor service providers performance, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all occupants.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure facilities comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, fire and safety codes, and other applicable laws.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks by implementing appropriate controls and processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure safety procedures on site are in place and working.
  • Site risk assessment and ensuring that suppliers have work permits when working onsite.
  • Do plan and unplanned job observations with staff and contractors.
  • Ensure safety files and all accreditations are in place.
  • Adhere to JLLs business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firms guidelines, procedures, and strategies.
Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (such as property managers, HR, IT, and finance teams) to align facilities services with business requirements.
  • Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders, including building owners, landlords, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Communication and Language Skills * Fluency in English.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Skills: * Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
  • Proven experience in facilities management or related field, with a strong focus on both hard and soft services across multiple geographies.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and permits related to facilities management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work well under pressure.
