Job Summary:



The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of buildings, equipment, and services within the organization. This role ensures that all facilities operate smoothly, comply with health and safety regulations, and provide a suitable environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management a related field. Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, or a related field. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proven experience in warehouse facility management or a similar role in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and compliance standards. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:



Oversee the daily operations of all company facilities, ensuring optimal functionality. Manage and schedule maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures. Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels meet organizational needs. Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues related to service delivery. Ensure all facilities adhere to local and national health, safety, and fire regulations. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Develop and enforce emergency preparedness and evacuation plans. Provide health and safety training to staff as needed. Develop and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost efficiency. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives. Oversee procurement of maintenance supplies, equipment, and services.
