Facilities Manager

Job Description


Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for a Facilities Manager, in Mhluzi, Middelburg.Responsibilities:

  • Delegate and supervise responsibilities for maintenance, cleaning/housekeeping, and security operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify repairs or improvements needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility improvements.
  • Run routine maintenance inspections.
  • Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation.
  • Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes for repairs and other work.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5 - 7 years in facilities or maintenance management.
  • Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Health and Safety Certification (advantageous).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Leadership and team management skills.
Remuneration:
  • Up to R25 000 per month.
