Eastern Cape, Port ElizabethMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Facilities Manager - Port Elizabeth, EC.Our client in the Retail Industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ a Facilities Manager.An exciting career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (degree preferred) in the built environment, or Building Science, etc.
• 3 years' experience in facilities management or building maintenance (Preferably within tenanted retail environments).
• Financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
• Contractor Management experience according to SLA's.
• Knowledge of and experience in compliance with relevant building codes and legislation including SANS, Municipal by-laws and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety regulations.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:
1. Capex Projects:

• Oversee capital expenditure projects, focusing on planning, executing and managing maintenance and improvement projects.
• Work closely with asset management and property management teams to assess property needs.
• Conduct inspections (technical, housekeeping, service contract, take on, and take back).

2. SLA & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):

• Manage all Service Level Agreements and the implementation of PPM.
• Work closely with external vendors, contractors and the property management team to ensure high levels of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.

3. Tenant Installations:

• Oversee and manage all installation processes.
• Work closely with the leasing team, property managers and contractors to ensure the installations are done and completed and within budget and on schedule.
