Job Description
Our client in Benoni is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to spearhead their manufacturing operations. This pivotal role is instrumental in elevating their production capabilities and maintaining their leading edge in the market.As the Factory Manager, you will helm the entire production process, leading a diverse team of approximately 35 members across multiple departments such as administration, stores, CNC machinery, assembly, and dispatch. Your primary focus will be on optimizing production efficiency and product quality, ensuring seamless operations through your mechanical engineering prowess.Education:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing management, preferably in metal or aluminium sectors.
- Proven track record in project management, especially in machinery upgrades and software integrations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, with a history of enhancing operational efficiencies.
- Drive production efficiency and uphold stringent quality control standards.
- Lead and nurture a multidisciplinary team for cohesive operations.
- Manage material sourcing and inventory optimization.
- Spearhead strategic projects, including the procurement and installation of cutting-edge machinery.
- Oversee the implementation of productivity software solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
