Essential Oils-Distillation facility & operations manager

Location:

Santa Rosa Farm, P262,Oribi Flats (40km inland from Port Shepstone near Lake Eland Game reserve)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Distillation Facility/Operations management:

Manage all aspects of the steam distillation Facility.

Manage all staff at the facility during distillation season as well as out of season

(+-12 - 15 staff).

Do Maintenance and repairs of the facility buildings, electrics, equipment, tools, yard, fence line.

Do facility upgrades, extensions, building.

Do the logistics for the companies' shipments (Local collections and deliveries).

Do equipment, tools, stock, consumables collections.

Filtration, blending and batching of products.

Drawing of samples, preparing samples for customers.

Preparation, palletisation and labelling of shipments.

Cleaning and preparation of all equipment, tools, drums.

Ensure proper product quality control during all blending and prior to shipping.

Administration:

General facility administration (document management, data capturing, record keeping).

Accurate implement and maintaining of all facility certifications (HSE, FSSC22000, FFL).

All stock management of drums, bottles, pallets, tools, equipment, PPE.

Sourcing and ordering of required tools & equipment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate.

Computer Literate, excellent record keeping and paperwork ability.

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Code, 8,10,14 driver's licence.

Able to drive machinery (Tractor/TLB).

Pay: R9000,00 - R12000,00 per month
