Faculty Assistant Contractor - Cape TownFull job descriptionIQbusiness is seeking to employ a Faculty Assistant on a 12 month contract, to collaborate with an international client, from our offices in Welgemoed, Cape Town Northern Suburbs.This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site; 2 days WFH).About this roleOur client is a leading international business school. The Faculty Assistants support our client's Faculty members for all administrative duties enabling them toconcentrate on their teaching and research activities. In this role, you will assist 3 to 4 FacultyMembers with their agenda, teaching material, expenses and much more.Key activities & accountabilitiesCarry out general secretarial and other duties as requiredPrepare teaching materials and help for document or database researchesProvide support in the Facultys agenda managementOrganise logistics for internal and external meetingsWhen required assist in meeting with clients, take minutes and provide general supportOrganise travel and complex travel planning: reservation of flights, accommodation, visas, etc.Manage expenses claims timely and accuratelyProvide support during workshops and events on campus when requiredProvide support to Faculty during online events/programs when requiredIdeal profileBachelor's degree or equivalent ideally in Commercial or Hospitality fieldStrong experience in a customer relations roleExperience working in an international environmentFluent in English, written and oral, a good command of French is a plus; any additional language is an assetComputer literate (MS Office necessary, Salesforce, Canvas and Zoom are a plus)Proven organizational and administrative skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities in an independent mannerExcellent communication skills, customer-focused and diplomaticTeam player is a mustStress management, customer-oriented, professionalTime management, organization and logistics skillsStrong sense of responsibility with a proactive and positive attitudeWho we are:Our purpose is to grow people, grow business and grow Africa.At IQbusiness, we are creative problem-solvers who never concede defeat.
