Farm Quality Supervisor / Agricultural Graduate - Addo, Eastern CapeReferencePE002147/CVLocationEastern Cape, AddoSalary IntervalMonthlyPackageNone-negotiableDescriptionOur client in the Agricultural industry, based in Addo in the Eastern Cape, is currently looking to employ a Farm Quality Supervisor / Agricultural Graduate.Job Overview:Follow-up and control of agricultural and harvest activities, in order to ensure that the fruit meets industrial quality standards and harvest standards in the expected volume for each plantation age. Monitoring and control of the organic packing reject, identifying whether or not the fruit meets the industrial standard.An awesome career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:An Agricultural type of qualification is essential.Must be fluent in the Afrikaans language.Must be willing to work in Addo area.Responsibilities, but not limited to:Follow-up and control of the daily harvest program by taking samples and updating the KPI board.Random monitoring of the main pests and diseases.Comply with productivity per hectare (Tn/Ha) for each block according to the age of plantation.Ensure the completion of the main agricultural tasks, in the correct manner and at the correct time (Pruning, Fertilization, Spraying, Herbicide, Irrigation).Build degradation curves of chemical products in conjunction with the Quality Department.Have a spray program with exact application deadlines for each product.Participate in performance trials of new varieties and chemical products defined by Quality manager and Production Manager.Participate in data collection to track grower costs in conjunction with management control and the Production Manager.Assist with harvest estimates for the season.Kindly be advised that should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.Report job
