DescriptionTo manage the safe and efficient execution of the Capital Investment Portfolio and Improvement projects.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSafety, Health, Environment and Quality:

• Manage SHEQ compliance within the Section through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
• Management of Contractor Management process
• Safety management of Contractors

People:

• Manage the Section:
• Ensure an enabling climate/culture
• Manage labour stability by minimising labour turnover

o Labour complement in line with budget
o Achieve HDSA/Female targets for the Section

• Manage performance against set targets and competencies

o Ensure IDPxe2x80x99s are linked to performance results and implemented as per plan

• Conduct career discussions and implement actions with all identified talent (quarterly)
• Ensure discipline is maintained (absenteeism, lateness, overtime, misconduct, etc.)
• Coach and counsel people to ensure improved performance levels
• Conduct recruitment interviews

Customers:

• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct post investment reviews
• Conduct MOCxe2x80x99s for all projects including the customers

Project Services:

• Compile the Project Definition and Process Specifications
• Manage the Engineering and Design phase of the project
• Manage the Project Contractors
• Procure contracted services
• Award project tenders

RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B Degree or National Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical
• 6 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience
• Preferably 2 years managerial experience
• 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Ferro Alloy production environment
• Knowledge of SAP Systems, MS Office
• Recognized managerial qualification will be advantageous
