Field Collection Officer

Job Description
- Conduct full-scale investigations of incidents from beginning to end, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly examined.
- Providing comprehensive feedback and evidence to law enforcement where relevant and required.
- Provide detailed feedback to clients, victims, and other stakeholders regarding developments in their cases.
- Liaise with SAPS at designated SAPS stations (build relationships, attend all meetings, etc.).
- Collect and verify information at the scene of a crime (including CCTV video footage)
- Communicate with and debrief all victims, witnesses, security guards and others at the scene of a crime.
- Gain tactical understanding of the incident.
- Reporting back to management on cases and investigations
- Compile incident report
- Analyse reports
- Conduct Staff Vetting
- Submit statements and testify in court if necessary
- Other projects on an ad-hoc basis as stipulated by management
- Matric (Minimum)
- Tertiary Education (Advantageous)
- Computer literate (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- PSIRA Registered
- Initiative
- Intelligence
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Sense of urgency
- Results and goal- orientated
- Must have a valid drivers license and own transport
