We are also looking for a passionate and qualified Field Guide (Level 1) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about wildlife and conservation, with strong communication skills and the ability to provide an exceptional guest experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided game drives and bush walks, sharing knowledge about the local flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
- Provide guests with an engaging and informative safari experience, maintaining safety at all times.
- Monitor and report on wildlife sightings and unusual animal behavior.
- Assist with general lodge duties and guest interactions as needed.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including maintaining a valid first aid certification.
- Level 1 Field Guide Certification (FGASA).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of local wildlife, birds, and ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for conservation and the environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Willingness to live on-site at the lodge.
