Field Operations Manager [KZN] Operations ~ Sales
KwaZulu Natal - South AfricaOur pharmaceutical client is currently seeking a Field Operations Manager who will report to the National Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for the management, development, and leadership of sales operations strategies aimed at increasing profitability and maximising sales. Additionally, the Field Operations Manager will be tasked with managing and developing specific customer bases to meet projected sales targets and agreed operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a complete understanding of the content and then implement the regional operations plan to achieve the objectives set by the line.
• Conduct gap analysis and target gap closing
• Implement promotional programs
• Manage a team of third-party sales and merchandising agents to achieve regional and divisional targets
• Implement sales operations strategy through collaboration with the sales and merchandising agents
• Set the vision for the specific field operations teams
• Plan and execute the operational strategy for the region
• Effectively manage resources such as money, stock, time, systems, sales tools, operational scorecards, and reporting
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Key Customers and the sales and merchandising agent
• Handle customer problem-solving in a timely and successful manner
• Manage critical customer base operations relationships
• Analyse and report on regional operational targets
• Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends affecting current and future growth of customer base, sales, and profitability
• Communicate regional activity of competitive products through timely submission of monthly highlight reports as directed
• Review, audit, and report on expenses
• Monitor operational performance against strategic account management objectives and directives

Required Learning

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification/Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an Operations role in FMCG environment.
