Job Description

We are seeking the best and brightest to join our team as a Field Sales Manager. They will be responsible to build and maintain sales strategy to reach sales objectives (Sales IN and OUT), Managing of the sales team in the field.COMPETENCIES:

• Up to 5 years relevant experience
• Specialization in Sales, preferably pharmaceutical sales
• In-depth understanding of the South African pharmaceutical / Health care space
• Natural Team leader

RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY

• Develop Sales Strategy for the different channels (Practitioners, Pharmacies, Health Shops & Major retailers)
• Analyzing sales results, market data/market share and track performance of the sales team

SUPERVISION OF SALES REPS IN THE FIELD

• Plan regulary field visits with the sales team to develop the sales team to sales excellence and complete field visit reports afterwards
• Sales Force Excellence : Selection Targeting Positioning (STP-process)
• Transparent communication and reporting to Country Manager on evolution of the sales team

ANALYSIS, PLANNING AND ORGANISATION

• Analyze available data (sales, IQVIA, SO reports, CRM) to understand and develop the Sales Division
• Daily follow-up on rep activities / monthly analysis of rep performance
• KPI-setting and follow-up for the sales team
• Daily follow-up on rep administration and rep reporting

BUDGETMANAGEMENT (REP BUDGET / PROMOTIONAL BUDGET)

• Ensure that the allocated sales budget is used to the fullest potential and provides maximum return
• Budget administration and follow-up (budget request, report on ROI, feedback)

COLLABORATION MARKETING DEPARTMENT

• Close communication with Marketing Department
• Preparation of Sales meetings together with Marketing department
• Follow up that the available POS-materials are used correctly
• Aligning the sales strategy with the marketing strategy
• Evaluation of Marketing & Sales activities
