To aggressively drive sales growth and expand Chateau Gateaux's market presence within the designated territory by proactively identifying, engaging, and converting potential customers across various sectors, including businesses, schools, retirement resorts, restaurants, and event venues. This role is pivotal in building strong customer relationships, promoting our premium cake and confectionery products, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales targets.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12/Matric
2- 3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and deliver compelling presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexibility to travel freely in designated area
Work Day Flexibility (Monday - Sunday) as required by client requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Business Development:
Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach to businesses, schools, retirement communities, cafes, restaurants, hotels, and event planners and other potential outlets.
Conduct compelling product presentations and tasting sessions tailored to the specific needs and preferences of potential clients.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue for Stores.
Organize and execute promotional activities, including in-store events, trade shows, and community events, to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target customer segments.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular sales reports, and provide accurate sales forecasts to the Area Manager.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally
Reporting and Documentation:
Timeously prepare and submit sales reports, contact reports and call cycles
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.
