Job Summary Role Purpose

Performs skilled tasks in the electrical / mechanical repair and maintenance of crane related equipment
Facilitates efficient technical, engineering and after-sales service to customers.
Diagnoses, overhauls, repairs, tunes, maintains and tests equipment and machinery through the use of specialized tooling and equipment.
Prepares and submits detailed failure reports

Minimum Requirements

Duties include:

Detects mechanical and electrical faults by using specialized tooling and equipment.
Repairs and maintains components and equipment.
Follows work assignments received
Determines the extent of the needed repair and determines the nature thereof
Perform checks and services on a regular basis and detects possible faults and flaws on affected equipment
Repairs and/or replaces and fit new sections or new parts
Improvises necessary solutions as and when needed
Works with specialized equipment in order to perform daily duty requirement
Adheres to all health and safety legislation
Assist spare parts with part identification
