Job Description

Mission:

• To perform machine repairs and services in a professional and efficient manner
• To ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business through high work standards

Main Responsibilities or Functions:

• To perform Services and breakdown repairs, on Epiroc equipment at customer site.
• To do on the job training of customer artisans during machine services and machine breakdown
• To promote Epiroc best practices of maintenance and services
• To do regular audits of the customers machines
• Check and recommend type of spares and what the recommended stock levels should be.
• Communicate and implement technical news bulletins to customer.
• Commissioning of machines in the territory.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Experience in Customer Service and good interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organizational skills as required
• An ability to work unsupervised at set standards
• Be willing to travel as and when required in the performance of his duties and training
• Technical knowledge of Epiroc's products
• Computer Literate
• Good product knowledge (Surface drill rigsDM30,DM45,DML,PV235,PV271,PV275,ETC)

Educational Qualification

• A suitable trade qualification (Diesel mechanic, fitter, electrician, millwright)
• 3-5 years' experience
• TMM Experience (Trackless Mine Machines)
• Valid driver's license is required

• Computer literacy
• Good customer relations
• Good telephone manners and skills
• Interpersonal skills to work with customers and suppliers and to work as part of the Technical Support team
• Selling technical skills
• Be able to work independently without supervision
• Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code
