Field Service Technician
Job Description
Job Summary Successful incumbent will have a completed Grade 12, and be a qualified Artisan ie. Diesel Mechanic / similar, coupled with 5 years related experience with an in-depth knowledge of "yellow plant" machinery maintenance, hydraulic and low voltage electrical systems. Knowledge of reading of electric hydraulic shematics coupled with 5-7 years relevant experience within the Construction or Mining sector essential. A valid drivers license and medical fitness certificate (in accordance with the Mining and Construction Sector requirements) essential. KPI's include: repair and maintenance of complete fleet (Bauer equipment - drill rigs and general vehicles (south of Equator); updating of CRM (in-house system); maintenance records; provide telephonic and in-person machine specific technical advice to clients; suggest and offer parts to clients post inpections / repairs and review and determine parts required to retain in stock; ensure HSE standards - country specific and per the company's HSE guidelines.
