Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)OUR CLIENT HAS A PERMANENT POSITION FOR A MID LEVEL FIELD TECHNICIAN IN PORT ELIZABETH.The Company is looking for an experienced Field Services Technician to service clients in Port Elizabeth, must have at least 5 years experience in the service, repair and maintenance of cash handling equipment and software. Proof of residence in Port Elizabeth will be required on application. RELIABLE VEHICLE AND VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS ESSENTIALPLEASE NOTE: ONLY APPLY IN YOU QUALIFY IN FULL. 3-5 years experience in repairs/servicing/maintaining cash handling equipment.
Excellent technical and electronic knowledge of equipment and
software.Repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment (hardware and software) as per SLAs.
Meet customer SLA's related to response and repair turn-around times.
Report problems and escalate customer complaints to Manager within 2 hours.
Manage stock, and assist with regular stock takes.
Return defective parts and completed job cards timeously.
Complete accurate reporting as required.
Always remain professional during client liaison and interactions.
Timeously follow up on client service/repair requests.
Keep abreast of new technologies and trends within the industry.
Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
Display initiative and self-discipline.
High focus on customer care/satisfaction.
Strong reporting and administration skills (highly computer literate).
Excellent communication skills.
