Job SummaryElsies River & MalmesburyEmphasis will be given to EE candidatesMust have a driver's license and own vehicleThe role is based at two Plants in Elsies River (Cape Town) and Malmesbury, requiring the candidate to travel between the sites. The workweek will be split between the two Plants.Initially, the role will be solely in Cape Town from Monday to Friday. However, once the Malmesbury Plant is operational, the workweek will shift to Tuesday to Saturday.Job PurposeResponsible for the proper storage, movement, and stocktaking of all dry goods, consumables, and product inventory following company procedures, with a focus on stock intake and investigating any stock discrepancies.Reporting to: Head: Financial Reporting and AnalysisOutput:InventoryManage and control all product inventories, including carcasses/boxes from internal and external suppliers, following company processes.Control and issue all dry goods/consumable inventory according to procedures.Ensure accurate labeling and positioning of all labels.Handle all paperwork to the creditors department regarding stock intakes at on-and offsite locations.Conduct weekly stocktaking of all dry goods, consumables, and product inventory according to agreed SOP's.Reconcile Inventory movements weekly/monthly and address any discrepancies.Management Reporting and AnalysisReport weekly/monthly on Inventory movements and variances.Identify and report patterns and trends in Inventory movements and variances.Provide Finance support to the Plant Manager and Analyst team, particularly on stock-related matters.People SupervisionSupervise stock take teams.Maintain positive employee relations, manage conflicts, and foster a productive work environment.RequirementsExperience3-5 years of inventory control experience1-2 years of supervisory experienceWorking weekTuesday to Saturday (Initially Monday to Friday, shifting to Tuesday to Saturday once Malmesbury Plant begins operations)Plants/LocationThe candidate will work at two plants in Elsies River and Malmesbury, dividing time between both locations weekly and making ad hoc visits to offsite storage facilities.Functional CompetenciesAccuracyEnglish LiteracyComputer LiteracyUnderstanding of YieldSalary:R 30,000.00 CTC per monthThis is a TCTC package covering travel between both Plants in Elsies River (Cape Town) and Malmesbury, and back home.ONLY CANDIDATES WITH A COMPLETED BCOM DEGREE IN FINANCE OR SIMILAR/SOON TO GRADUATE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.RMV SolutionsRecruiter
