This career opportunity is available in Santam's Digisure business for the Finance Business Partner, who will be based in either Johannesburg (Sandton) or Cape Town.
What will you do?
This role will report to the Head: Santam Digisure. This suitably qualified and experienced individual is responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting on business performance, risk and regulatory reporting and implementing finance automation solutions. The role is required to ensure delivery of quality, accurate and complete management reporting, which will enable the understanding of the business and enhance the strategic, risk and financial management of the business.

Financial reporting
Reporting that is in accordance with the Santam Group requirements, accounting policies including IFRS and Regulatory requirements.
Setting up processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of reporting requirements by Business Units within the required Group Reporting timelines.
Support the financial reporting requirement where business change necessitates reporting changes.
The role will require analysis and reporting of revenue and expenses as well as management of the head office cost allocation rules relevant to the business.
Preparation of Board reporting and business review reporting.
Financial planning and analysis Effective and efficient annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, including analysis and review of budgets and forecasts.
Supporting the business with financial planning and scenario analysis for Sanlam Group reporting.
Operational finance Administer supplier onboarding, invoicing and payments (load payments, manual requisitions, foreign requisitions)
Reconcile credit cards and administer employee expense claims
Review and approve ad hoc client transactions in the Policy Administration System
Generate monthly premium bordereaux
Generate reinsurance reporting bordereaux
Strategy management
Supporting Digisure's strategic business case development.
Developing financial models and due diligence framework in partnership with the CFO and Corporate Finance for any new business acquisitions.

Qualification and Experience
BCom Accounting Degree /B Tech or similar
CIMA or CA(SA)
2 - 3 years post CA/ CIMA experience
Short term insurance experience - Advantageous
