If you are a dynamic Chartered Accountant looking to take the next step, then this is the opportunity for you. The incumbent will be the CFOs right-hand, assisting in developing the business strategies and growing the business in South Africa and Africa. The incumbent must be comfortable with traveling.:
- Understand the business holistically and manage financial projects efficiently.
- Develop and document the financial control environment, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Manage foreign currency risk and engage proactively with lenders.
- Review legal agreements and handle corporate finance and tax structuring.
- Dealing with Merger and Acquisitions
- Involvement in the direction of the business and advising the CFO accordingly
- Involvement in financial modelling and business deals and corporate strategy
- CA(SA)/Chartered Accountant accreditation is essential
- 5 to 8 years post articles experience is essential
- Experience in the Africa regions is beneficial
- Financial services or Retail experience is preferred
