Job Description


Our client in the IT industry is currently looking for a Finance Clerk, in Bloemfontein, Free State.Responsibilities:

  • Creditors:
  • Acquiring quotations for comparisons and approval.
  • Confirming banking details for payments.
  • Second check/review of reconciliation.
  • Forward payments confirmation when required (confirmation to be requested from Langton)
  • Processing payments to be checked and approved.
  • HR Support:
  • Acquiring and forwarding signed documents for payroll processing (e.g leave forms, advance forms)
  • General HR communication and liaison with the head office.
  • Other general HR Duties.
  • Inventory Control (second - hand/used machines):
  • Receipting collected machines.
  • Transferring machines between warehouses.
  • Stock takes (counting and reconciliation of used machines)
  • Invoicing scrapped machines on the writes-off account (signed documents required)
  • Processing loans.
  • Assist with consumables/spares stock control when required.
  • General Admin duties:
  • Pretty cash reconciliations.
  • Other.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12.
  • National Diploma/Degree in Financial Management/Accounting.
  • Knowledge of prescribes and policies that govern financial management.
  • Must be familiar with systems like pastel.
  • At least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Must have excel skills.
Remuneration:
  • Up to R12 000 per month.
