The company serves both domestic and international markets, providing products to retailers, food service providers, and other food manufacturers.The purpose of the tole is to provide financial and legal advice to Senior Management while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and legislation.If this sounds like a role you interested in reach out to for more information.Duties:

  • Manage annual financial targets and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and analyse weekly management accounts with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop comprehensive annual budgets including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Capital Expenditure reports.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Perform regular audits, design control systems, and implement company policies.
  • Draft and review customer and supplier contracts.
  • Manage relationships with banks regarding terms and conditions, contracts, and loan documents.
  • Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage stock controls to minimise inventory risks.
  • Implement and maintain financial risk policies.
  • Report on risk issues in a timely manner.
  • Investigate, motivate, and drive the implementation of innovative and efficiency-enhancing projects.
  • Promote digitalisation and increased customer service levels.
  • Foster a motivational climate and provide leadership.
  • Manage Key Performance Areas and monitor performance standards.
  • Enforce procedural and fair disciplinary actions to address policy deviations.
  • Assist with benchmarking, best practices, and provide recommendations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting / BCom Law
  • CIMA is essential.
  • CA(SA) Accreditation will be advantageous.
Experience:
  • Completed Articles
  • Minimum 5 years in a Financial Manager or similar position.
  • Experience with activity analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency in systems control, organizational, communication, and process improvement.
  • Experience with integrated operational systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Accounting Packages such as Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

  • Proven ability to multitask and support administration/operational teams.
  • Strong analytical acumen.
  • Professional with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
