Proven working experience as a Finance Controller or Supervisor.
Understanding of a project-based environment pref.
Knowledge of Sage VIP.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the finance function, including:
Analysing financial data
Managing cost optimising projects
Making recommendations for improvement.
Manage and co-ordinate the preparation of budget and financial forecasts.
Manage the budget process, and report variances.
Manage audits and attend to queries.
Compile and review all financial reporting, including financial statements and financial results.
Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Payroll and Asset Control.
Support and ensure month-end and year-end close processes, quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Skills and Competencies:
Financial and business risk management.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP & IFRS).
Knowledge of system and process implementations.
Efficient and ensure compliance in addressing technical accounting issues.
