Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for data analysis? Derivco is seeking a skilled Finance Data Analyst Level 2 to join our team and provide valuable insights to drive financial decision-making.

Role Purpose:

As a Finance Data Analyst Level 2, your primary responsibility will be to collect, organize, validate, and analyze financial data to inform key strategic and tactical decisions. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategies and optimizing our business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs for financial decision-making. Collect, validate, and transform financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct in-depth analysis using advanced statistical techniques. Design and develop reports, Excel models, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate meaningful insights to stakeholders. Present and effectively communicate findings and recommendations. Identify areas for process improvement in data collection, data structure, data governance and analysis. Investigate and report on financial trends, patterns, and anomalies. Plan and execute financial data analysis projects. Escalate any risks that may impact the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in Data Analysis or a similar role. Proven experience working with SQL, Power Query, Power BI, Excel or similar tools Intermediate knowledge of financial principles and concepts required.
