Your key responsibilities
Lead and manage the SSA FC&A team (2-4 FTE) and related portfolio of entities to achieve business objectives.
Responsible for Statutory Financial Statements, external / internal audit and compliance.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis for the SSA region and continuously improve processes to achieve top quartile performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in the FC&A team.
Collaborate closely with Financial Shared Services, FP&A, Business Units, and Centers of Expertise (e.g., tax and treasury) to ensure alignment and integration of financial activities across SSA.
Develop and implement the financial control strategy for SSA in collaboration with the FC&A Leadership Team.
Responsible for delivering and understanding the actual financial results and statements of financial position for the SSA portfolio (OWC, Revenue, GM, OPEX, EBITDA, APMs, and Net Income).

You bring
Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a CA(SA) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in financial control, accounting, and analysis, with proven experience in leading and managing sizeable finance teams.
Previous work experience in countries under SSA region with diverse cultures and ways of doing business.
Demonstrated track record of achieving financial targets, improving financial processes, and delivering results in a complex and dynamic business environment.
Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient, with a drive for continuous learning and growth.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong knowledge of financial control processes, IFRS principles, and statutory requirements.
