Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the school
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Manage budgeting processes and financial planning
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations
- Monitor and control cash flow and expenditures
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff
- Implement and manage financial software and tools
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience: Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Language: A good command of the English language (German language desired)
- Other: Critical thinking, teamwork, data analysis, financial acumen, and a willingness to work in and support a school environment are key requirements for the function.
