Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the school
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage budgeting processes and financial planning
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations
• Monitor and control cash flow and expenditures
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making
• Supervise and mentor finance department staff
• Implement and manage financial software and tools
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Language: A good command of the English language (German language desired)
• Other: Critical thinking, teamwork, data analysis, financial acumen, and a willingness to work in and support a school environment are key requirements for the function.
