Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing financial activities, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and provide forecasts to support strategic planning.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.

Internal Controls:

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with other departments and senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred. Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a hands-on role. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
