We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven finance professional to provide leadership, financial oversight, and strategic guidance to our client's finance team.About the Role:As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Group CFO and oversee a team of accountants.This role is ideal for a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, compliance, and reporting, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.Key Responsibilities:xe2x9cx85 Oversee daily financial operations, including investment accounting, banking, invoicing, and ledger maintenance.
xe2x9cx85 Supervise and direct a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
xe2x9cx85 Prepare and review monthly management reports, financial statements, and tax calculations.
xe2x9cx85 Ensure statutory compliance with IFRS, South African Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and regulatory requirements.
xe2x9cx85 Manage budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial planning.
xe2x9cx85 Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities (SARS), and regulatory bodies.
xe2x9cx85 Implement and maintain best-in-class financial policies, systems, and controls.What We're Looking For:xe2x9cx94 Qualified CA(SA) with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience.
xe2x9cx94 Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and compliance.
xe2x9cx94 Proficiency in SAGE X3, SAGE Intacct, SAGE Evolution, CaseWare, Hyperion, OneStream (or similar systems).
xe2x9cx94 Experience in a group structure environment, preferably within financial services, investments, or related industries.
