Job Summary Introduction A well established FMCG company is looking for a Finance Manager. Reporting the Finance Director SEA (South East Africa), you will be accountable for the management, control and reporting of the Financial Accounting Department, Annual Statutory Financial Statements, Company Tax and Insurance. Enforcement internal and external financial policies and procedures and Corporate Governance. Duties & Responsibilities Financial Business Reporting: Verify and substantiate Credit Control. Approve Accounts Payable Templates. Approve Weekly Treasury File (Cash Flow Management). Internal Financial Corporate Reporting. Submit Corporate Insurance Packages and Ensure Comprehensive Business Cover. Liaise with and Report for SA Reserve Bank & Statistics SA. Ensure business decisions are based on reliant financial information, timeous payments, and reducing company risk. Annual Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare Statutory Annual Financial Statements for the South Africa business. Stay Abreast of International Financial Reporting Requirements. Liaise with External Auditors for the Year End Audit & Independent Review. Ensure a true reflection of annual consolidated financial information & all financial deadlines are met. Company Tax: Prepare and monitor Company Corporate Tax. Calculate Provisional and full-year Tax. Prepare Entity's Tax Schedules. Check accuracy of Tax Returns. Confirm Submission of Tax Returns. Report on Entities' Tax Compliance. Responsible for Annual Country-by-Country and Japanese Controlled Foreign Companies Reporting. Ensure Legislative requirements in respect of Transfer Pricing are met, including Entity's Local File Information. Ensure Compliance with Tax Legislation. Corporate Governance: Enforce Segregation of Duties & Identify opportunities Annual MRI 7 Verifications. Execute Management WalkThrough for JSOX and Swiss SOX. Meet Know-your-Customer (KYC) Requirements. CIPC Submissions. Minimize Business Risk. Special projects: Execute and manage identified Projects. Compile project plans. Monitor the process. Approve and sign off. Ensure that the Group complies consistently with international specifications. Backup, to check and confirm, People & Culture Department's Salary Related Calculations.
