Key Requirements:

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a Finance Manager within the

industry. * Completed SAICA articles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends, providing insights into financial performance.
• Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and management.
• Monitor budgetary performance and analyze deviations from the budget.
• Forecast financial outcomes based on historical data and market trends, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the management team, aligning financial goals with the company's overall objectives.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
• Develop financial models and scenarios to assess potential risks and opportunities.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SAICA requirements and other relevant legislation.
• Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
• Optimize working capital through effective management of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Monitor

activities and relationships, ensuring optimal banking terms and services. Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Promote continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, leveraging technology where applicable.

Financial Strategy and Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business dynamics and provide financial insights.
• Support business decision-making through financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic advice.
• Communicate financial performance and implications to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Ad Hoc Projects and Initiatives:

• Lead or participate in special projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for financial analysis and information from management and external stakeholders
