Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Manager to join our client based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
As Finance Managers you will be responsible for advising the company and organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.Key Performance Indicators

• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
• Oversee the operations and development of the companyxe2x80x99s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
• preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Supervise the documentation of the companyxe2x80x99s financial status and forecasts.

Education:

• Matric (Non-Negotiable) Average 65 % and higher on Maths
• Preferred Honours Degree holders / bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in finance, accounting, business studies or a related field IE: BCom with Honours and completed articles.
• Preference will be given to applicant who qualified before or during 2012
• Qualified as CA (SA) Non-Negotiable
• maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns.
• Professional registration with SAICA is a non-negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years appropriate management experience in a Manufacturing or operations environment (Non-Financial institutions).
• Demonstrates understanding of all facets of business operations and interactions, a sound working knowledge of financial management, numeracy, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong understanding and application of SA income tax, VAT, and other tax legislations.
• High level computer literacy (including MS Office / Excel).
• Working experience in a financial environment; knowledge of online computer applications (JDE)
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and plan work, handle a diversity of tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, manage projects and cope under pressure.
