We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team, stationed at a vibrant location in Umhlanga, KwaZulu Natal. As the Finance Manager, you will take charge of the operational accounting domain, ensuring seamless financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the property.Description

• Oversee weekly revenue reporting and analysis
• Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Conduct three-month forecasting for financial planning
• Prepare reports for Head Office consolidation
• Generate month-end management accounts
• Handle statutory payments and reconciliation (PAYE, VAT, and WCA)
• Manage local bank accounts and optimize cash flows
• Reconcile balance sheets and ensure accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date stock files and conduct monthly stock takes
• Supervise outstanding debtors and implement collection strategies
• Develop and manage financial systems/models
• Lead the preparation and management of the company budget
• Manage Variable Controllable expenses using prescribed documents
• Prepare monthly management packs and financial reports
• Implement and monitor controls across the business
• Establish effective inventory control systems
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Manage and lead the financial team
• Oversee HR functions, including monthly payroll information
• Manage the company's BEE, SD, and EE initiatives

• Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting
• 5-7 years of relevant Finance experience, with preference for Hospitality experience
• Proficient in Pastel Partner, Pastel Evolution (Asset Model), and Apex (Front Office System)
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
• Clear communication skills via telephone and email
• Sound business communication skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Teamwork and attention to detail
• Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Proactive learning orientation
• Priority will be given to individuals aligning with employment equity targets.
