As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join them in managing the financial aspects of their thriving citrus farm.As the Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all financial activities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the farm. You will be responsible for managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of the farm while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.The role reports directly to the CFO.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the farm's financial performance.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support operational planning and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and analyse financial trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the farm's financial stability.
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Honour's degree or CA(SA) designation preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the agriculture or food production industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
