Requirements

• Financial Qualifications xe2x80x93 B-Comm Accounting or equivalent
• SAP Experience
• Previous Manufacturing experience will be an advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Previous Management experience xe2x80x93 Mentoring a team
• Great communication skills xe2x80x93 verbal and written.

Process improvement.

• Review the companyxe2x80x99s internal processes and propose improvements.
• Manual processes that need to be updated and automated where possible.
• Improve the outputs of functions through process improvement.

Team Management.

• Upskilling of Finance & Controlling (xe2x80x9cFiCoxe2x80x9d) Team members. Collaborate in identifying the skill gaps in each of the team members and have an agreed measurable that you will assess them on.
• Have a timetable agreed upon for the finance team (including an overall team target and individual targets) that will allow the finance function to achieve deadlines.

Finance-Company Relations.

• Improving the relations between the finance function and the rest of the company.
• Collaborate in meetings with Heads of Department and where necessary, give support to achieve budget targets.

Reporting.

• Oversee the timely submission of financial reports to the Group and internally
• Ensuring that month-end reporting is completed by the date set by the Group
• Ensuring that year-end reporting is completed by the date set by the Group
• Improving debtors' days
• Oversee preparation of regular cash flow forecasting.
• Collaborate on improvement milestones to be presented to the GM

Reducing Cost.

• Assessing cash drains and discussing improvements with the FiCo Manager and GM.

Specific Projects for the Company.

• Collaborate in assessment & reduction of Balance Sheet liabilities
• Collaborate in assessment & reduction of Balance Sheet provisions
