Finance Manager: Reporting - JhbFull job descriptionOverviewTo ensure the efficient functioning of the South Africa Finance function, coordinate and consolidate the process of management reporting that provides accurate and useful information to management to assist in planning, organizing, and controlling the efficient running of the organization whilst ensuring that financial practices are controlled in line with statutory and professional prescriptions. The role will also provide first line support to all the Fertilizer SA operations in improving and optimizing their business processes.QualificationsBachelor of Commerce Accounting DegreeChartered AccountantExperience5 Years relevant experience3 years Financial Reporting experienceExperience in analysis and balance sheet recons will be advantageousAdvanced experience with using Excel formulas and functionsMS Office (MS Excel, Advanced)ERP System (Pastel Evolution, Microsoft AX Dynamics)DutiesDirect and Indirect Management of Staff:Responsible for the recruitment, management and development of Senior Financial Accountants within the Reporting departmentResponsible for the management of the individual Omnia Fertilizer SA operations finance teams to ensure sound service delivery to customersResponsible for ensuring that applicable training and development needs are identified within the individual Omnia Fertilizer SA operations finance teamsResponsible to ensure that effective tracking systems are in place to ensure that work is performed in accordance with instructions and/or guidelines, and to enhance productivity and ensure appropriate motivation and satisfaction levels of staffManagement Reporting:Responsible for the consolidation and analysis of management accounts, assessing reasonableness, and providing commentary as a source of management informationResponsible for maintaining 5-year historiesPerform thorough GP and Expense analysis, provide commentary.Timely preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliation.
