My client is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Finance Reporting Manager, where you'll play a pivotal part in budgeting, reporting, analysis, and forecasting to propel their business forward.This position is based in Sandton and is on a Hybrid model.Duties:

• Budgeting Mastery:

• Lead the charge in our annual budget process, collaborating closely with growth managers to craft realistic revenue projections.
• Partner with cost center budget owners to develop operational expenses budgets that align with our strategic objectives.
• Empower teams by assisting in building robust business cases and ROI evaluations to guide investment decisions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by understanding the cause-and-effect dynamics of environmental factors and adapting finance management plans accordingly.
• Provide ongoing support to budget owners to ensure adherence to established budgets.

• Insightful Reporting:

• Uncover actionable insights through in-depth analysis of various business facets, proactively addressing financial performance and mitigating risks.
• Aid business units in expense management by offering insights into actual vs. budgeted results and providing timely data support.
• Deliver accurate and insightful reports to different departments and executive leadership, contributing to scalable business operations.
• Ensure seamless monthly submissions of trial balances and forecasts using Cognos Controller as directed.
• Facilitate smooth month-end and year-end rollovers to maintain financial integrity.

• Advanced Analysis and Forecasting:

• Drive precision in financial forecasting with timely submissions of monthly forecasts and forecasts for key performance indicators like sales and churn rates.
• Conduct thorough cost calculations and price planning to inform strategic decision-making.
• Produce a variety of reports to enhance decision-making processes and drive performance improvements.

• Key Initiatives & ROI Optimization:

• Spearhead successful implementations of key initiative (KI) products, optimizing process flows and financial systems for scalability and efficiency.
• Lead the setup of SME cloud billing processes, ensuring seamless scalability from a finance perspective.
• Collaborate on the establishment of infrastructure for ASP and assist in treasury, reconciliation, and settlement functions for Buy-now-pay-later products.

• Revenue Insights & Metric Mastery:

• Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue drivers, providing valuable insights into key metrics and conducting comprehensive COGS and Opex analyses tied to metrics like cost-to-serve and payback periods.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Completed Matric
• Completed Degree in Management Accounting or Finance related field is required
• Completed Honours or CIMA qualification is preferrable
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in a similar position
• Experience working on Power BI or Qliksense system would be beneficial
