Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract)

Job Description
Join an established global company operating in the retail marketing space as a Financial Accountant on a 6-month contract.Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end processes, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are accurate and timely.
- Implement and document financial processes and policies for the new OpCo, aiding in its setup and stabilization.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.
- Support the finance team in managing the existing London-based operations and filling in as needed during this transition phase.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting roles, ideally with a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, tax, and VAT/PAYE regulations.
- Proven track record of assisting with initial setup phases, especially in a new operational entity.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
