Financial Accountant - CIMA/CA - GautengKey Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations (UK and South Africa).
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and implement any necessary recommendations.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold ethical standards.
Assist in the development and improvement of accounting systems and processes.

Required Qualifications:

Completed CIMA / CA with articles.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role with exposure in United Kingdom / South African markets.
Proficiency in accounting software Xero / CORE.

Salary offer: R800K - R1M
