Key Responsibilities: Data Integration & Reconciliation: Verify data integration and reconcile reports from systems such as Paymatic and Accpac. Balance Sheet Management: Compile and review the monthly Balance Sheet for reconciliations. CapEx & Fixed Assets: Handle the preparation and reconciliation of capital expenditures and fixed assets. Sundry Income: Prepare and reconcile sundry income sources including badge money and ID cards. Transaction Verification: Verify and reconcile allocated transactions to ensure accuracy. Credit Control Assistance: Support the Head of Credit Control with Debtors reconciliations and calculate the Monthly Debtors Admin Fee based on reports from Work Force Group. Creditor Reviews: Review creditor reconciliations and payment requisitions before submission for sign-off. Transaction Allocation: Ensure accurate allocation of transactions across segments and General Ledger Accounts. Journal Entries: Prepare monthly journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Month-End & Year-End Support: Aid in the month-end and year-end close processes. Audit & Compliance: Compile and prepare necessary paperwork for auditors and compliance officers. Finance File Compilation: Create a comprehensive monthly finance file with detailed analysis and descriptions of income and expenditure. Reporting Duties: Weekly Sales Report: Submit weekly sales reports. Forecast & Flash Figures: Upload weekly forecasts and monthly flash figures. Profit & Loss Reports: Pull and submit Profit and Loss reports via Bi Reports. Annual Budgets: Upload approved annual budgets. Additional Responsibilities: Team Building: Foster strong relationships and effective communication with Group Finance and suppliers. Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various finance projects as needed. Who You Are: Relevant Finance/Accounting degree. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Experienced in reconciling reports and managing financial data. Skilled in preparing financial statements and reports. Adept at supporting credit control functions and managing debtor and creditor reconciliations.
