We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Group Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified CA(SA) with 1-2 years of post-article experience outside of audit. • Consolidation of group financial statements and reporting.
• Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review management reports for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for group operations.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policies.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support in group-level audits and regulatory filings.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Newly qualified CA(SA).
• 1-2 years of post-article experience in a financial accounting role (preferably outside of audit).
• Experience with group financial reporting and consolidations.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, financial accounting principles, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
