xe2x96xaa B. Com degree with accounting subjects
xe2x96xaa Minimum 5 years work experience in an accounting environment of which 2 years should be in a
manufacturing environment
xe2x96xaa SAP experience
xe2x96xaa Computer literate, specifically Excel
xe2x96xaa Auditing experience will be beneficial
xe2x96xaa Confident and independent person who is a fast learner
xe2x96xaa Being a team player
xe2x96xaa Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
xe2x96xaa Able to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)
xe2x96xaa Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesDuties
xe2x96xaa Preparing month-end accounts up to Management Accounts
xe2x96xaa Journaling standard monthly expenses into the accounts
xe2x96xaa Maintaining the companies fixed asset register and calculating the depreciation charges
xe2x96xaa Finance agreement and rental validation, control and reconciliation and input of all related accounts
to the general ledger
xe2x96xaa Determining prepayments and accruals figures to be accounted for
xe2x96xaa VAT control, including reasonability tests and reconciliation between VAT return and general ledger
xe2x96xaa Investigating unexpected variances in the Income Statement
xe2x96xaa Setting up and maintaining monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
xe2x96xaa Preparation of lead schedules for all relevant balance sheet accounts at financial year-end
xe2x96xaa Overall reconciliation of the accounts to ensure that all costs and revenues have been accounted for
xe2x96xaa Preparing and controlling paperwork for foreign payments
