• Collect, analyse, and summarize account information from various subsidiaries.
• Capture financial information provided by subsidiaries and convert foreign currency transactions into the functional reporting currency.
• Perform financial reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle tax computations and coordinate information between subsidiaries and tax consultants.
• Conduct month-end and year-end procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including Balance Sheets and Income Statements.
• Account for intra-group transactions, eliminations, and balance intercompany loans at a group level.
• Prepare consolidation entries for relevant subsidiaries.
• Analyse financial trends and variances, providing insights and follow-up actions.
• Compile and deliver monthly management reports and periodical reports for senior management.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to queries from management and stakeholders.
• Assist with audit requests to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, keeping up with financial policies, regulations, IFRS standards, and exchange rate conversions.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in as a financial accountant
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting processes.
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with Sage Evolution is an advantage.
