- Minimum of 3 years experience in a full-function accounting role
- Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and VAT submissions
- Excellent understanding of general ledger and reconciliations
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Experience in the mining or construction industry will be advantageous
- Completed BCom Degree in Accounting or related field
- Diploma holders with strong experience also welcome to apply
- SAIPA articles completed or in progress will be beneficial
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and submit VAT and SARS returns
- Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Support with month-end processes and reporting
- Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders
