Job Summary :
A results driven financial firm specializing in custom solutions for retail and high-net-worth clients seeks an experienced financial professional to enhance their innovative, client-focused approach and strengthen their market position.The ideal candidate will manage monthly financial reporting, including accounting for month-end entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of management accounts and budgets. They will contribute to value-add projects, and support business case data needs. Responsibilities also include performing reconciliations between different systems, resolving discrepancies, and preparing detailed reports for debtor and cash book reconciliations. The role demands compliance with standards and effective communication of financial trends and material differences through reports and dashboards. High involvement and engagement with various stakeholders such as shareholders, banking partners, and sales teams is crucial.Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom degree in accounting
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Solid background in accounting systems; experience with Great Plains advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
- Knowledge of financial legislation including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and IFRS
