We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team at a leading I Equipment Supplier based in the East of Johannesburg!As a Financial Accountant, you'll be at the forefront of our financial operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records. You'll play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the accuracy of our financial data.If you're ready to make your mark in the world of finance, we want to hear from you! • Review and process customer applications
• Forecasting project closures, partial profit taking (IFRS 15), costs, and margins
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Compile and submit annual budget
• Compare actual vs. planned costs with variance analysis
• Monitor major costs and suggest savings
• Analyze sales performance and margin
• Analyze and report on proposed new systems
• Follow ISO processes and company procedures
• Manage documentation and tracking for new vehicles
• Performing of month-end and year-end closure procedures
• Creditor reconciliations review and authorisation
• Bank payments review and authorisation

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours
• CIMA

Experience:

• 5/6years years proven experience in a similar role
• Strong financial acumen and expertise in financial analysis, planning, and reporting
• Proven track record in the management of integrated ERP systems such as SAP, BAAN, Infor
• Willing to travel locally and internationally
